Foreword
Having never brewed using Maris Otter pale malt before, or El Dorado hops - we figured it was time to make a simple brew using these two ingredients to really see what they're about. We'll also be trying a new yeast for the first time - Lallemand's Verdant IPA. We're also attempting our first 30 minute boil with this recipe.
In terms of style - we initially started out planning this one to be a simple Pale Ale - it could also easily be considered an India Pale Ale as well given the somewhat high alcohol content and dry hop contents. Either way, we're hoping it tastes great!

Thanks for this. I have a pound of El Dorado that I need to make use of. I think I'll try half Pale, half Marris as you noted in your tasting notes.
